books & articles

Anthony’s research and writing center on the dynamics of employees’ relationship with work, what leads this relationship to change, and the effects of these changes on not only the workers themselves, but also their colleagues, teams, and organisations.

His book Jolted unpacks the hidden psychological and societal forces behind resignations and employee decisions, offering practical insights for leaders in today’s evolving work landscape.

His scholarly articles—published in leading journals such as Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Applied Psychology, and Personnel Psychology—explore topics like resignation styles, organizational citizenship, and ethical decision-making. In parallel, his thought leadership in outlets like Harvard Business Review, The Wall Street Journal, and Fast Company bridges academic rigor with actionable advice on managing employee retention, burnout, hybrid work, and organizational trust. Collectively, his work offers a nuanced, research-backed view of the modern workplace.
